Ifeoma Aggrey-Fynn (aka Iphie) Shot Dead by Kidnappers


Ifeoma Aggrey-Fynn (aka Iphie), an On Air Personality with Silverbird’s Rhythm FM has been shot dead by kidnappers.

She was reportedly killed along Port Harcourt – Aba expressway. The blogger, MC, and motivational speaker who hails from Ghana but spent all her life in Nigeria went to see her parents in Aba and on her way back kidnappers tried to hijack their bus.

The driver attempted to speed away and the kidnappers opened fire on the bus and mistakenly shot her.Iphie was the presenter of Rhythm and Soul and Ladies First on Rhythm 93.7 FM, Port Harcourt. Some of the shows she had hosted include The Afternoon Drive, The Dance Party, Gospel vibes and The Morning Drive.

Iphine Aggrey-fynn born to a Nigerian mum and a Ghanaian dad, Aggrey-Fyn Ifeoma considers herself to be somewhat of an afro cocktail. A graduate of Linguistics and communication studies, Abia State University. member ABSU Ivory Tower Play group.

Iphie started her journey into broadcasting in 2003 as a TV presenter. She joined the Rhythm family in 2009 and has never looked back. Started her radio carreer at Rhythm 95.7 Awka where she presented the mid morning show "Rhythm n Soul" , Gospel Vibes and "E-Merge" a TV programme on STV Awka.

Iphie later joined Rhythm PH in 2011 and has brought her unique style to a different audience through the different drive shows she features in. From the Morning Drive to the Afternoon Drive and the Dance Party including her unique news reading skills, Iphie has been known to be an all rounder.

She has also found a name for herself as an event host and public speaker.
