The 'Ibu Chineke' crooner under Kennis music in the 90's  sealed it before the Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2015 with his beautiful damsel Amanda who inspired his new smash single " Sweeter" at the Covenant Christian Centre, Yaba.

The wedding reception followed immediately at the TBS Banquet hall where friends, colleagues in the music industries, PR gurus and respected entrepreneurs poured in to celebrate Slam and his wife Amanda.

It was a day to behold as artistes, Dee jays and comedians took it in turns to sweep people off their feet with jokes and good music.

Sweeter is a pop reggae fusion featuring reggae maestro, Rhymzo. In characteristic Slam style, it is a masterful blend of high energy, rich lyrics and top quality production that will keep audiences on the dance floor until the last strokes fade away. Sweeter is based on a true life experience.

He said: “I want everybody to always be true to that special someone because when all else goes you will realize that that person is sweeter than anything you ever had.

Following the successful launch of three albums before now, Slam left Nigeria at the height of his music career in 2005 to pursue a Masters degree in Marketing in the United Kingdom. He explains that he never entirely left music during the period as he occasionally played in clubs around the UK and even Holland.
