Battle for Imo Government House Continues as INEC fix April 25 for Supplementary  Polls....

The Independent Electoral Commission has fixed April 25 for the re-run of governorship election in Imo State. Last week, INEC declared the election inconclusive due to irregularities observed in the State.

According to the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, (REC) Dr. Gabriel Adah, "the result of the governorship election was not clear enough to have an outright winner, it was declared inconclusive as a result of non functionality of card readers, Violence and Snatching of Ballot boxes. It will be wrong under such situation to declare a winner. However, elections will take place in about 250 polling booths across the 23 local government of the state on April 25, 2015, he said".
