Two Soldiers were killed while six others injured during a blast in Rukuba Barracks, jos, Plateau state.
According to reports, the blast occured during the destruction of old explosives in an old ammunition armoury.
The blast occured around 10:35 am, when some soldiers were said to be clearing the explosives and some of the ammunition went off.
Residents of Bukuru metropolis in Jos were not confortable with the loud bang as they panic , and rumours went round that the barracks was under attack by insurgents.
