The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been rated the youngest team heading to the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
The FIFA U20 World cup competition will kick -off on May 30 to June 20, with 24 teams participating in the tournament.
According to the International football body ,FIFA, "Nigeria produced an average age of 18 years and nine months, the youngest among the
participating teams.
The countries with the oldest players are provided by the European duo of Germany and Ukraine.
Nigeria’s Taiwo Awoniyi, who is one of the members of the Golden Eaglets that won the FIFA U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates in 2013, has been rated one of the youngest players to watch out for in the competition.
A total of 504 players have been selected by the 24 teams to follow in the footsteps of Maradona, Messi and countless other global stars who have showcased their potentials at this tournament.
New Zealand is the new focus to discover stars for future International football, and there are undoubtedly plenty of Nigerian players are well capable of dazzling.
